TIDE UP BOX

This week, I received a lovely parcel in the post from Tide up - a box full of gifts inspired by the sea. Tide up is a monthly subscription service that delivers a box full of sea air and self-care right to your door. I strongly belief self-care is important espicially as life is so busy these days and Tide up provides a perfect way to practise it.

I absolutely love the beach and whenever I visit, I leave feeling positive, refreshed and content. I go there out of enjoyment and for a bit of relaxation time so to receive a self-care package in the post filled with items inspired by the sea was perfect for a beach loving girl like me!

The theme for my box was - Beach party and included:

  • A bar of Green & Blacks 70% dark chocolate

  • 3 hair ties

  • Cosy Cottage Soup Company mango foot balm

  • 5 wine glass bead charms

  • 2 packets of biodegradable clamour body glitter

I loved the theme for the box and could tell a lot of thought had gone into choosing the items inside ready for a beach party. Unfortunately, there are no beach parties or festivals penned in my diary yet, however I can still use all of my items when I next head to the beach.

I'm always having to tie my hair back when I go paddle boarding or kayaking so the pretty hair ties will be the perfect accessories to do this (my favourite is the one with shells on!) I also think these types of hair ties look pretty tied round your wrist too.

After a long day at the beach, the mango foot balm will be so useful to moisturise dry, salt and sand damaged feet. It smells lovely too - a mixture of mangos and lemons.

I can't wait to decorate my glass filled with a refreshing mocktail or smoothie, with one of the glass bead charms. Drinks always taste better when they are served in pretty cups or glasses (in my opinion anyway.)

Tide up are part of the Surfers against sewage 250 club which not only means that they donate a percentage of their profits to help tackle the problem of plastic, they also use as little waste packaging as possible. The box it came in was recyclable along with the packaging for the items. The draw string bag the wine charms came in can be reused to gift a present in too. I hate plastic waste so I'm a strong supporter of any company trying to make a difference by reducing their plastic usage.

I think a Tide up box would be perfect for any beach loving girl like me who needs a bit of self-care or someone who simply wants a box of pretty things delivered to their door every month. It would make a great present for someone too, especially if regular visits to the coast are not always possible.

*I was kindly gifted a box by Tide up as a competition prize in partnership with Surf Senioritas. I was not asked to write a review and all opinions are my own*
